Nekai Buckshot Cold email software · opening soon
Cold email that sounds like you.
Sent from your own inbox.
Tell Buckshot what you sell. It writes a personal email for every lead, sends from your own Gmail, Outlook or business mailbox at a safe, human pace, follows up, and hands you the replies. We built it to run our own outreach. Now we’re handing it to you.

[ why it exists ]
Tell us what you sell.
We’ll fire it at the right people.
When we launched Pulse, we had to reach businesses one at a time, with emails that read like a person wrote them, without burning our sending domain. The cold email tools we tried were built for sales teams with someone to run them, or for blasting big lists. So we built our own.
Buckshot is that tool, made simple for founders, marketers and agencies who would rather be selling than configuring mail servers. You describe your offer in plain English. Buckshot does the writing, the pacing and the follow-ups, and you stay in control of every word.
- Hours back every week. No more writing the same email fifty times with a different first name.
- Replies come to you. Every email goes from your own inbox, so conversations stay with you.
- Nothing goes out unchecked. You approve samples first, and edit anything you like.
- Leads found for you. On the bigger plans, Nekai’s team researches the people you want to reach.
How it works Four steps, no jargon
From brief to first
email in an afternoon.
01
Connect your mailbox
Emails go out from your own inbox, so replies come straight back to you and land in your Sent folder like any other email. Gmail, Outlook and other business mailboxes connect in a couple of minutes: your email address and an app password, and Buckshot fills in the server settings for you. One-click Google and Microsoft sign-in is on the way.

02
Add your leads
Drop in a CSV or Excel file from anywhere: your CRM, a lead database or a list you built yourself. Buckshot matches the columns for you and shows exactly who will be imported, and who was skipped and why, before anything is saved.
Rather not find leads yourself? On Double Barrel and Full Choke, tell us who you want to reach and Nekai’s team researches them and loads them in.

03
Describe what you sell
Four short answers: what you sell, who it’s for and why they’d care, what you want them to do, and how it should sound. That’s the whole brief. Buckshot writes a personal email for every lead from it, using what you know about each one.

04
Review and fire
Buckshot writes three sample emails straight away. Edit them, rewrite them or approve them; a built-in spam check flags anything risky. Then press Fire. Buckshot sends the rest in the same style, during your working hours, and follows up with anyone who hasn’t replied.
Prefer to check every email yourself? Choose that instead, and nothing sends until you approve it.

Replies One inbox for every answer
It stops the moment
someone replies.
Buckshot checks your inbox for replies, stops that person’s follow-ups straight away, and puts every answer in one place. Mark each one interested, not right now or not interested, and reply from your own inbox as normal. If someone says no, they’re never emailed again.

Deliverability Built to keep you out of spam
Your domain is the asset.
Buckshot protects it.
Warm-up
A slow, safe start
A new mailbox starts at 10 emails a day and builds to 40 over three weeks, so inbox providers learn to trust it.
Pacing
Sent like a person
Emails only go out on your sending days and in your working hours, a few minutes apart, never in a burst.
Health check
SPF, DKIM and DMARC
Buckshot checks the records that prove your email is genuine and tells you exactly what to add if anything is missing.
Safeguards
Automatic pause
If too many emails bounce in a week, the mailbox pauses itself and tells you why, before any damage is done.

Why Buckshot Not another sales platform
One shot. Many targets.
Every one aimed.
Done for you
Leads found for you
Most cold email tools sell you a database and leave the rest to you. On the bigger plans, Nekai’s team researches the right businesses and the right person at each, then loads them straight into your account.
Plain English
Built for marketers
Mailboxes, not SMTP servers. Daily allowances, not rate limits. If you can describe what you sell in two sentences, you can run a campaign.
Compliant by default
The legal bits, done
Every email carries your business name, address and a one-click unsubscribe. Opt-outs are honoured instantly and forever, and personal addresses are skipped where the rules require it.

Questions Short answers
Good to know.
What is Buckshot?[+]
Buckshot is cold email software for small businesses, marketers and agencies. You connect your own mailbox, add leads, describe what you sell, and it writes and sends a personal email to each lead at a safe pace, follows up, and collects the replies.
Can I use Buckshot today?[+]
Not yet. We’re opening it to a small first group. Register your interest and we’ll email you when your place is ready.
Does it send from my own email address?[+]
Yes. You connect your own Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook, Microsoft 365 or other business mailbox. Every email is a normal email from your inbox, and replies come straight back to you.
Are the emails really personal?[+]
Each email is written for the person it goes to, using what you know about them: their name, company, role and any notes you add. You approve samples before anything sends, and can edit or rewrite any email.
How many emails can I send a day?[+]
A new mailbox starts at 10 a day and builds to 40 a day over three weeks. That pace protects your sending reputation. To send more, connect more mailboxes; the bigger plans include several.
Will my emails land in spam?[+]
Buckshot is built to protect your sending reputation: warm-up for new mailboxes, sending only in working hours, emails spaced out, a domain health check and an automatic pause if too many bounce. We also recommend sending cold email from a second domain.
Is cold email legal?[+]
Business-to-business cold email is allowed in the UK, Europe and the US when it’s done properly: sent to business addresses, saying who you are, with your address and an easy way to opt out. Buckshot adds all of that to every email and honours every opt-out.
Where do the leads come from?[+]
Bring your own from any spreadsheet, or on Double Barrel and Full Choke tell us who you want to reach and Nekai’s team researches them for you.
Do I need to be technical?[+]
No. If you can describe what you sell in a couple of sentences, you can run a campaign. Anything technical is either automatic or explained in plain English.
